Join PWN Amsterdam in welcoming Lisette Sutherland to our November 15th 2018 evening event.
Lisette is a remote-working German-born American living in the Netherlands, who is totally jazzed by the fact that it’s possible to work from anywhere. In fact, it’s not just possible; it’s completely, productively workable – if you do it right. Her company, Collaboration Superpowers, shares just how to do it right in a variety of formats.
Meetings are essential for sharing information and moving projects forward. Unfortunately, online meetings are notorious for being awful. From technical challenges to unengaged participants, there are all too many snags that can get in the way of trouble-free communication.
But in the last 5 years, technology has come a long way. And it’s time to take another look. In this interactive talk, we will explore how people and companies are organizing themselves to work remotely. You will hear stories of digital nomads, virtual entrepreneurs, global business networks, and robots. And through a game of Bad Meeting Bingo, you will walk away having learned how to work online as if you were in the office together.
